This wearable device detects and reports the user’s cough. It may be helpful in treating patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, COPD, a group of conditions that cause airflow blockage and breathing problems. An increase in the number and intensity of coughs may indicate ineffective treatment. Real-time monitoring allows caregivers to intervene at an early stage.
