IBPS publishes notification to fill various positions in 43 banks


New Delhi: The Bank Personnel Selection Institute (IBPS) has launched a call for applications to fill the positions of Scale-III Officer (Senior Manager), Scale-II Specialist Officer (Manager), Scale-II Officer General Banking Officer (Manager), Scale-I Officer (Assistant Manager) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in the following 43 Caisses Régionales Rurales (RRB).

IBPS RRB Eligibility

Below are the qualifications and experience required for the positions.

Job Qualification
Office assistant (versatile) Baccalaureate and
Proficiency in the local language
Scale-I Officer (Assistant Manager) Licence
and
Proficiency in the local language
Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) Baccalaureate with a minimum of 50% marks
Specialist Officers Scale II (Manager) Head of Information Technology: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
Accountant : Certified Associate
Legal Officer: Law degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks
Cash manager: Chartered accountant or MBA in finance
Marketing officer: MBA in Marketing
Agricultural Officer: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture/horticulture/dairy/animal husbandry/forestry/veterinary science/agricultural engineering/fish farming with a minimum of 50% marks.
Officer’s Scale-III (Senior) Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks

Applicants must fall within the age range of 21-40, 21-32, 18-30 and 18-28 for Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager), Officer Scale-II (Manager), Officer Scale-I ( Assistant Manager) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) positions respectively.

Selection steps

There are three stages in the selection process. They are

  1. Preliminary examination
  2. main examination
  3. Interview

While the preliminary exam is expected to take place in August 2022, the main exam and interview will likely take place in September-October 2022 and October-November 2022 respectively.

Provisional allocations will be made in January 2023.

How to register

In addition to education eligibility and the age limit, interested applicants must have experience for Officer Scale II and Scale II.

The application fee is Rs. 175 for applicants belonging to SC, ST and PWD while for other applicants it is Rs. 850.
