February 12 Splitgate Update Improves Map Creator, Fixes Bugs, And More

Splitgate received a small update on February 12. The patch isn’t heavy on content, but it does make several changes to the game. The Quick Playlist has been changed and the Map Creator has been improved. A handful of bugs have also been fixed.

The patch increased the object limit for Map Creator to 2000 from the previous 1200. Hit detection issues in the creator map have been fixed, and the walking animation for players in the process of joining now works as intended. CPU and network optimizations are also included.

The Team Goals playlist has received two additions. It now features Koth and DOM game modes. Tactical Deathmatch is renamed Sniper Freny and Team Snipers replaced Swat mode. The Competitive Practice playlist has also been replaced with the Team Swat-only playlist.

The patch adds soft-kill zones to OOB zones and fixes a wall-cutting exploit. Players will not be kicked in turn-based modes due to time-based inactivity. You can read the patch notes in detail below.
